Christy Thomas is the Founding Partner of TJ Financial Services. In addition, she currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer of BLOX in Birmingham, Alabama. BLOX is the industry leader in Design Manufacture Construct (DMC).  DMC replaces traditional design and construction methods with a 21st century approach. BLOX currently works with retail and healthcare providers across the United States to bring health clinics, additional patient rooms and free-standing emergency centers into service.

Ms. Thomas recently served as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Administration for Milo’s Tea Company Inc., a family-owned business headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama. Milo’s is a manufacturer and distributer of consumer beverages sold in over 35,000 retail locations in 48 states, with over $450 million in annual revenue. Before this position, she served as Vice President of Finance and Global Controller for North Highland, a global consulting firm with over $500 million in revenue.  As an ESOP company, her role at North Highland included the administration and evolution of the ESOP.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Thomas served as Vice President of Finance at Mohawk Industries and The Home Depot driving Strategic Planning and Analytics.  She held Vice President of Finance and Accounting roles at Equifax over her 15-year tenure.

Ms. Thomas was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Birmingham Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta in January 2020 (currently serving as Chair).  She also serves as Treasurer of the Momentum Leadership Board in Birmingham and the Greater Birmingham Humane Society (Chair of Audit Committee). She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Georgia Society of CPAs, and the Financial Executives Institute.

Ms. Thomas earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an MBA in taxation at Georgia State University.
